KIRTIMAI CULTURE CENTER is a multifunctional culture institution, which creates facilities for residents to implement their creative work, cultural heritage, cultural tourism and leisure-time spending needs. It seeks to ensure social fairness and security, as well as encourages cultural collaboration. In addition, Kirtimai Culture Center takes into consideration diverse community needs and problems and organizes educational programs for small children and prevention programs for youth in risk groups.

By organizing events Center concentrates on creating conditions for amateur art dispersion in community and continuity of their activities. Preservation of traditional values and creativity is promoted and cultivated in center's events. All of this is combined with innovative ideas and new presentation forms.

Located in Kirtimai, Center attracts not only members of nearby communities but also citizens from every corner of Vilnius. One of the main goals of this Center is to involve all age groups into active cultural life. This is one of very few places where elder people meet, dance and have weekly gathering.

Three main aspects that are held in focus while organizing events and programs:

• “Innovative Ideas” – new attitude towards traditions. Unexpected, attractive, interactive educational and leisure-time engagement projects for youth and children.
• “Together with the whole Family – Together as One Family” – community projects for various generations and social groups that stimulate mutual understanding, communication, integration, the unity and nurturance of family, Dissemination and protection of cultural heritage and traditional culture.
• “Be Active, Experience New Sensations, Study all Life!” – leisure-time activities, new experiences and skills for people of various ages. Daily activities as well as preparation and participation of amateur collectives in national and international projects.

• Establishment and coordination of Kirtimai Culture Center amateur art activities;
• Organization of exhibitions, concerts and get-togethers;
• Fostering of ethnical activities and traditions;
• Dissemination of professional art;
• Planning of events related to National and calendar holidays;

• Administration of prevention programs.
